Waterfall of Music

by John J. Butler
July 1981

He's a Waterfall of Music, pouring Rainbows over me,
Flowing out into the desert, giving life, can man not see.
He's the Shower sent to quench man's thirst, Like a river, now life He brings.
Take His Message He is asking, give to all who are far and near.

He's the Flower of the Kingdom, He has perfumed all the World.
He's the Mystery of the Heavens, His Majesty unfurled.
He's the Breeze that blows throughout this earth, Have you felt this Mighty Wind.
He's the Nightingale in the treetop, He is singing, can't you hear?

He's the Fire that's burning day and night, He's the Love that changes man,
He's the New Star shinning brightly, He's the Prisoner from Irán.
He's the Promise of Past Prophets, He's the King foretold by Christ.
Upon a Throne of Gold he sits, in 'Abhá Kingdom's heights.

He's the Daystar full of wonder, He takes away man's fears.
Can you hear the distant Thunder, Now the Storm will soon be here.
Like an earthquake, He's been sent to earth, It's equilibrium now upset,
For the Power of Glory is come, and man and God have met.

He's the Springtime following winter, new life in nature moves.
He's the sun now rising slowly, from the eastern horizon.
He's the Summertime of splendour, Bringing colour to His earthly realm.
He's the Rose of every shade and smell, Now the "Most Great Peace" will come.

He's the Autumn of Creation, bringing fruits for everyone,
With the reds and golds of Bahá, man's spirit is now One.
He's the Wintertime of every year, Bringing beauty when times are bleak.
With the sending of the snowflake, the landscape He has graced.

Refrain:
He's the Greatest King that ever lived. Bahá'u'lláh is His Name.
He's for man, the Glory that God gives, Everlasting is His reign.
Oh Bahá'u'lláh, Oh Bahá'u'lláh, Yes Bahá'u'lláh is His Name,
He is the Glory of God, Everlasting is His Reign.

Coda #
For the Power of Glory is come. And man and God have met.
