There are two simple steps to becoming a Baha'i:
belief in Baha'u'llah and enrollment in the Baha'i
community. The first step is personal while the second step is
administrative.
A Baha'i is a follower of Baha'u'llah,
the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith. An individual
becomes a Baha'i when he or she believes that Baha'u'llah
is the Messenger of God for this age. After accepting Baha'u'llah
as the source of guidance for one's life, the next step is to
become a member of the Baha'i community. One does
this by signing a declaration form (see link at bottom of page).
By signing the declaration form one states one's belief in Baha'u'llah
and one's willingness to obey His laws and His institutions. There
are no restrictions, fees or ceremonies associated with enrollment.
If you think you are interested in becoming a
Baha'i, but don't feel you know enough, you may
visit the Baha'i Faith section to find out more.
For personal contact, you may visit our Events section to see
what's available. If you already know in your heart that you are
a Baha'i, you can either print a declaration
form or use the US National web form. If you live in the United States, use the web form and use the printable declaration form if you live outside the US.
