There is a dance here tonite, sponsored by the Hana Community

Hawaiian games at the Ball Park here in Hana, Maui. Well advertised both on
radio and in the paper, it has drawn a large crowd and alot of youth. Now
it's night and they want to play. What's happening? The Dance!
The place is packed and the dance starts at 7 PM. Bob Vogel, and a

JESSICA NEEDS GLASSES, BUT YOU'LL SEE!
Hum, where do we start. First of all, Summer's ok! It was
only a sprain. The x-rays showed no signs of a break. Summer's 10, the sorta
baby of the Workshop. When she fell and hirt her ankle, we didn't know the
condition. The Hana Medical staff doctor, Steve was at Wainapanapa, (by
chance???), and we layed Summer on a picnic table for him to examine. It was
sore for sure, but it didn't seem to be broken. To make sure he decided to
take her to the Medical Center and have an x-ray. It was at the Medical
center in Ryan's van that Jessica, Nick, Cristal Gomes and a few of the other
youth while caring for Summer that they decided to check out their eyesight. Jessica failed Marie (mom). Bad!
So, with that story out of the way, the whole medical staff were
fully aware of who the Bahá'í Youth Workshop where. Yes they (the Workshop)
where the rave of the town. The dance was a smashing success. When it came
time for the performance at 8:30 PM, the 400+ audience paid attention.
Throughout the crowd, outside, you could here the Hana friends, going:
"Shhh, Shhh, be quiet!"
Bob and Lucy are thrilled! They are so happy!
This event included a caravan of 6 vehicles. 51 Bahá'ís. The
Mathison's van, was down. We took the Grossmans van, mustang, cadillac, the
Palmer passenger van, work van (to haul da stuff - da bugga stay full, brah),
Mathew's van.
Vat a week! Hew! Catch you later.
