Organization

The International Environment Forum was created in 1996 as a virtual organization. It operates according to its statutes with an Annual General Assembly, held as part of its annual conference, at which a Governing Board of seven members is elected. Members join by submitting an application to the Governing Board. The Governing Board meets primarily over the Internet and members can participate in all activities over the Internet as well as in person.
