Race Unity and the Institutes for the Healing of Racism -
On-Line Resources

Men hate each other because they fear each other, and they fear each other because they don't know each other, and they don't know each other because they are often separated from each other.

-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

We get interesting, difficult to answer questions on occasion. Sometimes the answer is not what the person may want. Racism is a difficult subject to deal with. Each and every person has their own understanding of what racism is and whether or not they themselves are racist. Even persons married to or going with a person of another race can be racist! We have the capacity to accept into our personal circle persons of another race and still marginalize the remainder of the other race. Racism is a parasite we Americans are acculturated into very quickly. We have a choice, free will, to either succumb to the racism and allow it to eat away our very souls or to fight it. Fighting it means a daily battle with the ingrained habits and the external stimuli of racism. Here is how.
