You're quibbling. The Qur'an wasn't revealed in English, so this is moot.

Besides, if God chooses to express Himself in elegant terminology, who are
we to object?

This isn't a problem. If I reach the spiritual status of a woman, that
hardly makes me a woman.

I have my opinion, and you are likewise welcome to yours. We don't
presume to make others' decisions about who is or is not a divine
Messenger for them.
