"Whoso layeth claim to a Revelation direct from God, ere the
expiration of a full 1000 years, such a man is assuredly a lying impostor,"
Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 32
No one seems to agree with when this 1000 years starts. Some say 1852,
some same 1863. No one, however, seems to take into account that this last
revelation of God is as yet incomplete, because the Bab represented B in
the Most Great Name, Baha'u'llah represented both the B and the H (each
Manifestation, He said, represented all the previous ones), but the Most
Great Name, represented by BHA' in the English alphabet, has a third
letter, A--or Alif, in the Arabic alphabet. Baha'u'llah never claimed to be
the third letter of the most great name, only B and H (or Ba and Ha, as the
Arabic letters were pronounced in English). The 1000 years will start at
the end of this Revelation, which as yet is incomplete.
Rather than become upset at this suggestion, people should
investigate it and then decide whether to reject or accept it. .."If we
ever dare to limit and circumscribe God's purpose within any bounds, then
of necessity we have dared to set limitations to the omnipotence of God.
The created has dared to define his Creator!"--Abdul Baha, Bahai
Scriptures, p. 402. "Were He to pronounce right to be wrong or denial to
be belief, He speaketh the truth as bidden by God." Tablets of Baha'u'llah,
p. 109. "What He pleaseth God will abrogate or confirm..." Kitab-i-Iqan,
p. 147. We cannot dictate to God what God intended, but each person must
strive to understand for him or herself.
The revelation of the Greatest name of God is ONE revelation for
this age, represent by the Greatest name BHA'. The third letter is yet to
appear. Abdul Baha called this century the century of Baha'u'llah. The
century is drawing to its conclusion.
