As a life-long Mormon (now a liberal Mormon studying the Baha'i Faith) I can
assure you that this is not so. Mormonism brought MUCH that was new though it
does teach that it only "restored" that which was lost.

Actually, the majority recent converts to the Mormon faith were never
Christians to begin with. The Mormon faith is currently at around ten million
members and growing rapidly. I see Mormonism and the Baha'i faith
"over-lapping" on opposite ends of the globe.

There are some amazing similarities between early Mormonism and the Baha'i
Faith.
