Dear Lora,

Thanks very much for your posting. Please correct me if I am wrong, but
to the best of my knowledge and belief the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha are
inconsistent with the idea of a literal 'parallel evolution'. Indeed such
an idea seems to be in direct conflict with the conclusions of modern
science. Instead might it be possible that by 'man' Abdu'l-Baha might
have meant 'the Perfect Man' ie the animating force behind each of the
Manifestations of God, otherwise possibly known as the 'Holy Spirit' or
similar.

I am looking forward very much to learning more about this wonderful
Revelation of God that we call the Baha'i Faith.
