Well Gandhi, the Bahai Writings do not object to eating meat or using the
products of animals. However, I do believe that Abdul'baha stated (don't
have the source, sorry) that in the future mankind would gradualy become
vegitarian. He went on to site an example of an Indian culture that
subsisted on nuts. Vegitarianism is looked highly upon and I know
several vegetarian Bahai's myself. Though I do not practice it personaly
I do prefer it. As to any type of prohibition on meats, there are none
that I know of.
