Dear Ed,
Jimmy Seals and Dash Crofts are both very active Baha'is and were
responsible for bringing in many people into the Faith in the 70s. Jimmy is
now living in Costa Rica and Dash in Nashville, Tennessee. Dash still does
some singing--he sang in the choir at the Baha'i World Congress and toured
with Tom Price's choir in Russia. They both occasionally get together for
special Baha'i events, though I haven't heard of one recently. It was great
in the 70s. All the Baha'is knew and loved their songs and it gave us a
great feeling of having significance, especially when we could turn on the
radio and hear songs like Hummingbird, which is a metaphor for Baha'u'llah
("mankind is waiting for you to come flying along"), or Year of Sunday or
Ginger Trees, or any number of other songs that derived from Baha'i
inspiration.
Love and peace, Wendy---{-@
